Terms and conditions

The BrainMap platform is where you keep the materials you have bought, book your sessions with one of the institute's specialists and follow what you have measured with your devices at home.

It is not an emergency medical service. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment and does not replace a medical consultation. If you have an emergency, call 112.

• Your account is yours and is not lent to others. What happens with it while the password is with you is your responsibility.
• The details you give when you sign up must be real — invoices are issued on them, and we use them to reach you if the time of a session changes.
• You can delete your account at any time by writing to us. What you have bought stays yours until deletion; after that, it cannot be recovered.
• We may suspend an account used to pass on purchased content, or to disrupt other people's sessions.

Prices are those shown at the time of the order, in Romanian lei (RON), VAT included. Payment is made in the institute's shop, on neurofeedback.plus; we never see or store your card details.

• Courses, books, audio programmes: delivery means they appear in your library right after the payment is confirmed.
• Sessions with a specialist: delivery means the time booked in the calendar. The time is held for you while you pay, and if the payment doesn't go through, it is released.
• Physical devices are ordered from the shop and delivered by courier, under the shop's terms.

• Sessions take place in the platform's video room, at the booked time. You need a good internet connection, a camera and a microphone.
• A session can be moved or cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, from the platform or by writing to us. Within 24 hours, the session counts as held.
• If you don't show up, the session counts as held. If the specialist doesn't show up, you get another time or your money back, as you prefer.
• We don't record sessions. If it is ever needed, you will be asked for your consent beforehand, every time.

Courses, books and audio programmes are for you. They may not be copied, distributed or shown publicly. The files carry marks that link a copy to the account it came from.

We are responsible for the service we sell: that the materials are accessible, that sessions take place, and that data is kept as described in the privacy policy.

We are not responsible for results. Brain training works differently for each person, and nobody — not even us — can promise a particular result.

We may change these terms. If a change affects you directly — price, how things are delivered, your rights — we will let you know by email at least 15 days in advance, and if you don't agree you can close your account at no cost.

Romanian law applies. Disagreements are settled amicably, and if that isn't possible, by the competent courts in Romania — without taking away your right to turn to the authorities listed below.

The platform is operated by Brain Map Online SRL, with its registered office at Str. Zaharia Carcalechi nr. 23, bloc 1, ap. 30, Brașov, România, registered with the Romanian Trade Register under no. J8/2041/2024, tax ID (CUI) RO50306260.
